Due to continued growth this dynamic privately owned business is seeking a, Environment, Health and Safety Manager to join their team. This newly created position offers a unique opportunity to build and implement EHS strategies from the ground up, directly impacting the company's growth and success.

Position Overview

As the EHS Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive EHS management system across diverse operations including contracting, building / construction, manufacturing, quarrying / mining, and paving. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape safety culture and drive environmental initiatives in a growing organization with a 25‑year legacy of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement WHS policies, procedures, and programs
• Support iCIRT certification through best practice WHS and Environment strategies
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
• Deliver WHS training programs and manage workers' compensation
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate WHS into all operations
• Implement an Environmental Management System (EMS)
• Establish waste management, water conservation, and dust control programs
• Develop plans for chemical management and environmental incident response
• Conduct environmental audits and deliver awareness training
