About The Role

As part of their ongoing growth, our client is seeking a hands‑on HSE Manager to drive safety and environmental excellence across project sites and offices. You will combine strategic oversight with practical, on‑the‑ground support to ensure a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and manage WHS risks across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with legislation and internal policies
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Deliver safety and environmental training, inductions, and toolbox talks
• Support emergency preparedness and crisis management planning
• Monitor contractor compliance and provide coaching as needed
• Maintain and continuously improve WHS and environmental management systems and documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams to address safety and environmental concerns
• Provide guidance on environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, and quality assurance
• Travel regularly to project sites to provide on‑the‑ground leadership and support
