Community Care Worker - Brisbane South

About the role

We are presently looking for the right people to provide care, support and assistance to a number of clients based on the southside of Brisbane through to Mount Gravatt (including surrounding areas) . These are casual positions but require early starts (7 : 00am) to support our clients meet their needs and goals.

$39.55 - $42.27 casual rate per hour (SCHADS Home Care Aged Care - depending on experience) plus superannuation plus salary packaging available

As a Community Care Worker, you’ll work with clients in their homes, following their care plans, to provide support and ensure their needs are met.

• Assisting clients with their care requirements in accordance with their care plans and preferences
• Supporting clients with transportation and community access
• Monitoring their condition and reporting on any changes in condition or behaviour
• Qualified Community Care Workers (completed a Certificate III or higher in a relevant qualification) will be providing in-home personal care and daily living assistance including administering medication, manual handling and domestic assistance
• Experienced (unqualified) Community Care Workers will be providing domestic assistance, daily tasks, meal preparation unaccompanied shopping
