3 Senior Project Officers - Operations of Project/Program/Portfolio Office

We are seeking experienced Senior Project Officers to support a Federal Government program delivering complex and high-impact projects. The successful Senior Project Officers will work within a Project/Program Office environment, providing critical support across planning, coordination and delivery activities. You will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend for a further 2 years while contributing to nationally significant initiatives.
The successful Senior Project Officers will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Supporting project and program documentation, coordination and administration
- Assisting with project planning, scheduling and reporting activities
- Managing stakeholder engagement across internal and external teams
- Maintaining project financial records and supporting governance processes
- Providing advice on project capability, risks and continuous improvement
The successful Senior Project Officers will have:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a Project Support Officer or similar role
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile or SAFe
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and project tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to prioritise work and operate effectively in fast-paced environments
