Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant

About the Firm

We are partnering with a well-established Melbourne law firm with a strong reputation across commercial and property-related legal matters.

They are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join their busy litigation team and provide high-level support across a varied practice.

About the Opportunity
This is a diverse role supporting lawyers across commercial litigation and property-related matters, with exposure to areas including Owners Corporation, dispute resolution and other property matters.

You will play an important role in keeping matters organised and progressing efficiently, while managing competing priorities across multiple lawyers.

About You We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant who is confident working within a litigation environment and can hit the ground running.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant within litigation

  • Strong knowledge of VCAT and court documentation

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

  • Confidence supporting multiple lawyers

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Owners Corporation or property-related experience highly regarded
