About the Role
Perth Children’s Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join the Post-Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and provide specialised nursing care and close monitoring for children with a diverse range of surgical and procedural needs as they recover from surgery or anaesthesia.
As a Clinical Nurse, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and play a critical role in supporting children through this important stage of their recovery. You will use your clinical assessment and decision-making skills to recognise and respond to changes in a child’s condition, manage post-operative care and ensure a safe transition for children and their families to the next stage of their care journey. If you have strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills, excellent communication and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment we encourage you to apply. At CAHS we help children grow and thrive, and we offer the same opportunity to nurses who join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a specialist team making a real difference for children and their families and develop your leadership skills in a supportive environment that values innovation, research, and evidence-based practice.
