The Opportunity
As an Administration Officer in the City of Perth, you willprovide high-quality administrative, coordination and customerservice support to our Infrastructure and Assets Unit. Using yourinitiative and attention to detail, you will help keep dailyoperations running smoothly while managing competing priorities ina responsive service environment.
Reporting to the Alliance Manager Infrastructure and Assets,your responsibilities would primarily include:
- Coordinating diaries, meetings, agendas, correspondence andreports, alongside employee onboarding and team trainingarrangements;
- Managing incoming enquiries and the shared inbox, providingresponsive customer service and resolving or escalating mattersas appropriate;
- Supporting records management and compliance, includingFreedom of Information enquiries, and maintaining currentprocedures, forms and policies; and
- Raising purchase orders, reconciling invoices andmonitoring expenditure against operating budgets.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Experience delivering accurate, timely and customer-focusedadministrative support, with the ability to independentlymanage priorities and meet deadlines;
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronicrecord keeping systems and other software packages;
- Experience with budgets, purchasing, invoicing and otherfinancial procedures; and
- Effective customer service, written, verbal and numeracyskills, with the ability to communicate clearly, handlesensitive information with discretion and resolve or escalating enquiries appropriately.
Experience supporting a technical, infrastructure, works or project-based business unit would also be highly regarded.
