General Food Service Worker 3 hours Position-Middle School.

Hours will be 10:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. With no ½ hour lunch required.

Hiring date will be as soon as possible and for the remainder of the 26-27 school year.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Operate Commercial Equipment: Washing dishes/pans
• Manual ware washing
• Chemical Management
• Serving food
• Inventory & Stocking
• Making salads/sandwiches
• Setting up the food line
• Some cooking, and helping where needed in the kitchen.
• Temperature logs documentation
• Facility Upkeep such as sweeping and mopping floors
• Basic kitchen duties
• Student Interaction
• Team Collaboration
• Reliability
• Professionalism
• Must be able to lift heavy objects. with no problems and must be able to work at a fast pace on your feet for long periods of time. Must have tolerance of heat and humidity. Must have the basic concept of working with food and have some food safety knowledge as well as good math skills.
• We would need this person to be the backup person for various other positions in the kitchen including cashier and cook. So, you would need to be flexible with your hours
• All other assignments designated by the Manager and Nutrition Services Director
