Job descriptionManagement of the end-to-end processing of the monthly payroll for Head Office. Ensuring all monthly payrolls are checked and accurate before authorisation. Provide a high level of customer service to all customers across the business in relation to Head Office payroll services and advice. Manage adhoc reporting and payroll calculation requests for other departments as required. Effective management of payroll related projects End of month process / GL reconciliations. Build effective relationships with key stakeholders across the business and provide a high level of customer service and data integrity. The Successful Applicant 2+ years experience working in a similar position Experience with Xero Systems. Strong transaction processing and reconciliation abilities Ability to investigate and resolve issues and queries Working knowledge of accounting standards and human resource legislative requirements Strong organisational and time management skills High level of confidentiality, tact, discretion, and initiative Well-developed communication and relationship management Skills What's on Offer Flexible hours. Our client is property company and looking for a payroll professional to join their established team. Based in Canberra ACT | minimum 3-month contract with opportunity for long-term extension. Someone with excellent attention to detail, able to query, teach and push back where needed would be a great fit for this role.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Payroll officer seeking to join a supportive and high-performing team whereby the role will be an integral part of the finance function.
