About the role

This role may appeal to existing bank lenders, those in the finance sector and those who believe they have more to give and who love engaging with clients and revel in positive client outcomes. You will be supporting mortgage brokers whilst receiving extensive training and mentoring that will give you the tools and skills needed to become a top performing finance associate. You must have

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written to ensure rapport building with existing and external stakeholders to achieve retention targets
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Minimum of 2 years + as a credit analyst or similar role in the lending industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple loan applications simultaneously
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with loan origination software, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in analysing financial statements and company returns
  • Strong understanding of company and trust structure
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate creditworthiness of loan applications by analysing financial statements, credit reports, tax returns, and other relevant documents
  • Prepare and / or oversee credit submissions for new home loan applications, and coordination of deal execution through to final approval and eventual funding
  • Provide exceptional customer service to borrowers and respond to inquiries related to loan status and documentation
  • Communicate with loan officers, assessors / underwriters, and other stakeholders including solicitors, conveyancers, etc. to meet established timelines
  • Ensure home loan applications are complete and accurate, including loan application forms, property valuation reports, and other required documents
  • Maintain and update loan files and databases to ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Follow up on outstanding conditions and address and complete any loan conditions in a timely manner to ensure applications can be converted to final approval
