You must have
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written to ensure rapport building with existing and external stakeholders to achieve retention targetsStrong stakeholder engagement, influencing and interpersonal skillsPlanning and organisational skillsMinimum of 2 years + as a credit analyst or similar role in the lending industryAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple loan applications simultaneouslyProficient computer skills, including experience with loan origination software, document management systems, and Microsoft Office SuiteProficient in analysing financial statements and company returnsStrong understanding of company and trust structureKey Responsibilities
Evaluate creditworthiness of loan applications by analysing financial statements, credit reports, tax returns, and other relevant documentsPrepare and / or oversee credit submissions for new home loan applications, and coordination of deal execution through to final approval and eventual fundingProvide exceptional customer service to borrowers and respond to inquiries related to loan status and documentationCommunicate with loan officers, assessors / underwriters, and other stakeholders including solicitors, conveyancers, etc. to meet established timelinesEnsure home loan applications are complete and accurate, including loan application forms, property valuation reports, and other required documentsMaintain and update loan files and databases to ensure accurate record-keepingFollow up on outstanding conditions and address and complete any loan conditions in a timely manner to ensure applications can be converted to final approvalWe look forward to hearing from you.
