IT Support Specialist - Melbourne VIC

The AMA Group IT team is a fast-paced and dynamic group of professionals passionate about delivering high quality standards while maintaining focus on costs and simplicity.

This role encompasses incident support, application support, developing new features and updates to support the business, and evaluating system technical requirements. You will be responsible for providing high-quality IT support to a wide range of AMA users across various applications.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting AMA Group within the agreed SLA.
• Log and resolve incidents and requests, managing IT outages and disruptions.
• Set up, configure, and deploy new software and hardware across the group.
• Test, debug, diagnose, and resolve faults related to system software and applications.
• Follow up with internal IT resources, external partners, and vendors involved in resolution to ensure incidents are resolved, requests are fulfilled, and customer communication is complete.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems and develop solutions to enhance operational outcomes in line with SDLC principles.
• Ensure documentation is completed and updated for technical programs, end-user guides, and procedures.
• Manage software deployments, ensuring security, compliance, and proper installation.
• Prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
