Overview
Assistant Manager – Front Office at Novotel Sydney Darling Square. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for the successful operation of the Front Office Department.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the front desk, including check-ins / outs, loyalty sign-ups, reporting, and guest assistance.
- Supervise and manage the front office team on shift, with responsibility for onboarding and training.
- Ensure unforgettable guest service and drive loyalty.
- Effectively manage emergency situations within the hotel, following hotel procedures and processes.
Qualifications
Strong background in Front Office procedures and Opera Cloud.Experience in supervising, training, and motivating team members.Ability to act independently on matters relating to team and guest safety and wellbeing in the absence of senior management.High level of communication skills and ability to deal with multiple stakeholders.Ideally prior experience as an Assistant Manager, or at least as a Front Office Supervisor.Flexible to work mornings, nights, weekends and holiday periods.What’s in it for you
