Front Office Manager

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Front Office Manager ensures delivery of excellent customer service and revenue protection through timely and accurate processing of admissions. The successful candidate will provide effective leadership and support to a large team covering various administrative functions within the hospital.
Key accountabilities
- Managing the patient administration process, including scheduling, booking, verifying patient’s health fund coverage and providing accurate cost estimates / informed financial consent.
- Ensuring accurate and timely provision of paperwork and certificates related to admissions required to submit claims.
- Liaising with internal and external customers and stakeholders to assist with the admission process.
- Providing leadership and ongoing training to administrative staff.
- Supporting a culture for continuous improvement and leading the change‑management process where required.
- Demonstrating the Ramsay Way.
Success criteria
Experience in all areas of front‑office management.Demonstrated ability to successfully manage individuals and work groups.Demonstrated commercial acumen, attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload.Excellent communication, customer service and organisational skills.Willingness to learn, be flexible and ability to adapt to changes.Ability to understand and apply the practicalities of health fund contracts.Desirable criteria
Tertiary qualification in Business Administration or related discipline.Knowledge of Health Fund contracting system and processes.Experience with Meditech or similar patient administration software.About Us
