Job description5+ years of relevant experience in Construction, Utilities, Energy or a similar project‑based environment. Experience with upstream and downstream negotiations, with the ability to formulate and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with various stakeholders. High‑level contract administration, negotiation and influencing skills. Qualifications in Law, Construction Management, Business Management or Project Management are highly regarded (not essential). Above‑market salary package with annual reviews. Role Summary
CPP is seeking a Contracts Advisor to join our growing in‑house legal team, which already boasts over a dozen experienced Lawyers, Contract Advisors and Contract Administrators.
Collaborating with Project Managers, you will work on the largest renewable projects in the industry, providing guidance on key contractual provisions, assisting in managing contractual risks and ensuring compliance with contractual timeframes and mechanisms. You will lead the preparation and submission of correspondence, notices and claims to CPP’s clients.
