A highly active Australian Growth Equity fund is hiring an Investment Director to lead origination and execution across a flexible mandate spanning both minority and majority investments. The fund is well capitalised and actively deploying into mid‑market opportunities across a broad range of sectors. As a result of their current pipeline and growth plans, they are looking to bring in an experienced private equity investor.
Responsibilities
- Lead origination and build a high‑quality proprietary deal pipeline
- Own end‑to‑end transaction execution across commercial, financial, and legal workstreams
- Build deep relationships with founders, CEOs, bankers, and advisors
- Drive value creation and portfolio oversight post‑investment, including board representation
- Play a key role in firm‑building and developing junior talent
