About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs, support their independence, and advocate for their rights. You will play a crucial role in providing both direct face-to-face support and assist them with navigating systems to ensure they have access to resources and opportunities that align with their goals.
We are not just after a regular support worker – we are seeking someone who has knowledge of the systems impacting people living with disability and someone who is able to help them navigate it as best as possible. Key responsibilities will include :
Requirements
Experience in disability support, law, social work, advocacy, or related field.
Tertiary qualifications in either law, community services, social work, social science, or related studies.
Strong understanding of disability rights and the issues faced by people with disabilities.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Empathy, patience, and a commitment to empowering clients.

$43.08-$94.77 per hour + superannuation
