- Technology Solution Specialist
- to join our Customer Performance department.
Reporting to the Group Manager - Customer Performance, the Technology Solution Specialist will work with our customers to match their requirements with our technology solutions, deliver commercial tenders, and execute sales proposals. This role requires strong collaboration across multiple teams within WesTrac and Caterpillar Mining Technology teams, and a commitment to providing excellent service to our loyal and valuable customers.

- Key focus areas where you will make a difference
- Negotiation and execution of Technology sales contracts including contract risk management, feasibility and pricing activities to ensure annual sales targets are met
- Deliver exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty and sales of Technology enabled solutions
- Remain abreast of industry and market trends, promoting WesTrac to industry and sharing industry knowledge within WesTrac Proactively identify processes within the Technology team that would benefit from improvements and recommend and participate in improvement initiatives
- Maintain the sales pipeline in our customer relationship management system and ensure complete project / work scopes are provided to the Technology Operations team for planning and execution of the work
- To be successful the following is required
- A STEM or Commercial / Business Bachelor's degree is highly desirable
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to liaise across multiple organisational levels
- Strong computer and digital literacy skills, along with good initiative and problem-solving skills
- Align with and actively demonstrate WesTrac's values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect and Customer focus.
- Highly advantageous attributes include
- Can demonstrate being successful in a similar role working within the resources sector
- Have a solid technical understanding of Caterpillar products and industry relevant Technology products
- Understand and can articulate of the value proposition of mining technology solutions particularly in the areas of safety, productivity, maintenance and autonomy
