We are seeking a Casual Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator to lead and inspire the Lifestyle team at Baptcare Hedley Sutton Community in Camberwell. We are a vibrant active community, our residents love to contribute, participate, and engage in living and lifestyle events.
The purpose of the role is to develop and oversee a Lifestyle program that reflects resident choice and preferences and brings happiness, fun and promotes independence and participation. The Lifestyle coordinator will mentor and lead the Lifestyle Team to be their best and to support resident happiness and wellbeing.
Establish a positive and supportive relationship with each resident & their family.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individual Lifestyle Care Plans
Create a monthly activity and special events calendar.
Develop positive relationships with other Care staff, Volunteers & the Pastoral Care team to ensure a comprehensive, compassionate & holistic approach to the social, emotional & cultural wellbeing of each resident.
Vibrant happy personality
Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or other relevant tertiary qualifications
Relevant experience in leading teams
Proficient literacy skills, including ability to produce flyers, program calendars, newsletters etc.
