Supporting our 24 / 4, 365 day ChlorAlkali plant this is a critical role to IXOM's overall operations.In this autonomous role, you will join our ANZ Maintenance team and provide specialised electrical and control systems technical advice and support to our manufacturing and maintenance Botany teams.Key ResponsibilitiesActively contribute to ensuring SH&E compliance and targets are achievedImplementing site reliability strategy to achieve lowest cost, high uptime and world class plant performanceImplement preventative, predictive & proactive maintenance programsProviding breakdown DCS, trip, PLC, plant IT and instrumentation troubleshooting & supportReviewing equipment failures & implementing improvementsPlan & manage work scope for complex control / trip / plant and industrial IT activities including functional safetyAppropriate equipment spares are stocked and / or availableMinor & Major projects to improve plant operation, safety and / or reliability in the control & trip functionEnsure a world class plant control function is provided to internal customersProvide plant control engineering support to a team of skilled employees and contractorsWho are we looking for?Significant proven knowledge and expertise in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering pertaining to the safety and reliability of industrial manufacturing plantsTertiary qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)8+ years hands on experience in maintaining a continuous process plantProven knowledge of in maintenance of E&I equipment including high voltage and low voltage instrumented systemsFamiliarity managing PLCs and DCS systems with a particular focus on Allen-Bradley and Delta VStrong working knowledge of process instrumentation, common industrial protocols, HV / LV Switchroom equipmentKnowledge of safety systems including Risk Assessment, PTW and MOC systemExperience in the chemical manufacturing industry will be highly regardedStrong written and verbal communication skillsHave a proactive attitude and a self-motivated approachStrong interpersonal awareness with the ability to work well as part of a teamBenefits at IXOMFor a start, you'll work for a large global organisation, where you'll not only earn a competitive salary, but you'll also have access to an Employee Assistance Program, a recognition program, and a range of health and wellness benefits and discounts.Our wellbeing program is second to none, and we offer a range of education assistance and learning resources, as well as secondment and promotion opportunities to help you grow both personally and professionally.We support what's important to you by promoting workplace giving, diversity and providing volunteering leave, and, of course, we offer flexible working wherever possible.To ApplyIf this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!Please note that our Talent Acquisition team are taking leave over the Christmas break.
