We’re looking for passionate, caring people to join our team in casual Educator role in our Star of the Sea Long Day Care. Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience, we welcome anyone dedicated to creating nurturing, fun, and inclusive learning environments for kids.

Key Responsibilities :
- Create engaging, educational activities that promote children's well-being.
- Ensure a safe, supportive environment for children to thrive.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
- Promote the service in line with Catholic Early EdCare’s philosophy.
- Engage in professional development to grow personally and professionally.
- Foster a love of learning in children that will last a lifetime.
- Build strong relationships with families, educators, and the community.
Job Requirements :
- Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks
- Awareness of the National Quality Framework, and Queensland Kindergarten guidelines
- Effective workplace communication skills
- Willingness to take Child Protection Training as required
