Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver and maintain primary health care services in our clinic at Villawood, NSW.

The Role

In this role you will contribute to the delivery of health care services for our clients at the Immigration Detention Centre. You will also be responsible to :

  • Assess, plan and implement appropriate health management within the scope of a Registered Nurse
  • Participate in initial and periodic clinical assessment of patients, including Fit to Travel (FTT)
  • Administer medications and immunisations as prescribed
  • Ensure accuracy and maintenance of medical records and compliance with professional standards

  • Requirements

  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Div. 1 Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Primary Health nursing
  • Advanced clinical assessment and management skills
  • Current First Aid or BLS certification
  • Current Federal Police Check or willingness to obtain
  • Full working rights in Australia
