Senior Originator – Private Credit (Real Estate)

The firm delivers customised funding solutions to high-quality borrowers across Australia’s residential property market, blending rigorous credit discipline with the flexibility of a private lender.

As the business continues to grow its lending portfolio, they are looking for an experienced Loan Originator with strong industry networks to drive new business and support portfolio expansion.

About the Role

This is a senior origination position for a results-driven professional skilled at building trusted relationships and structuring complex financing solutions. You will source, evaluate, and execute high-quality real estate lending opportunities, mainly in residential property, while upholding disciplined credit standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and originate new lending opportunities in line with the firm’s credit strategy
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with property developers, brokers, valuers, and advisers
• Conduct preliminary credit assessments and due diligence on borrowers and projects
• Prepare and present credit proposals for internal approval
• Negotiate deal terms and structure transactions in collaboration with legal, valuation, and risk teams
• Oversee the full lifecycle of transactions from initial contact to settlement, ensuring a seamless client experience
• Contribute to product development and strategic growth initiatives
