Job descriptionProven HR business partnering experience or you're a senior People & Culture Advisor ready to step up into a broader strategic role Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand employment law, workplace relations, and WHS frameworks Skilled in complex employee relations, change management, and workforce planning Confident influencing and building trusted relationships with senior leaders Digitally fluent, with experience using HRIS and emerging technologies—including knowing how to leverage AI tools effectively to enhance people practices Collaborative, committed to learning, and passionate about building a high‑performing culture Comfortable stepping into ambiguity and influencing teams to embrace accountability, growth, and new ways of working Known for applying critical thinking and delivering pragmatic people solutions that drive impact Experienced in capability management, with a focus on aligning people strategies to business needs and future‑ready skills A self‑starter who takes initiative and thrives in dynamic environments, while remaining humble and open to feedback Most importantly—you bring energy, curiosity, and a desire to create lasting change through people Tertiary qualification or relevant experience in Human Resources or Business Professional membership / accreditation (HRNZ, CIPD, SHRM, AHRI) desirable A hybrid working model with regular connection days in our Sydney office Two additional CA leave days over the Christmas closure period A strong focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion embedded in everything we do A modern state‑of‑the‑art facility, city‑based workspace that supports diverse working styles Opportunities to grow your career through coaching, training, and the scholarship program The chance to contribute to meaningful work that supports sustainability and the public good and creates real impact for people across Australia and New Zealand A culture where your voice is heard—your ideas and opinions genuinely shape how we work and grow together
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a People & Culture Business Partner who is passionate about creating great workplaces and empowered teams across Australia and New Zealand. As a People & Culture Business Partner, you’ll partner with leaders to translate strategy into workforce outcomes. You’ll combine strategic workforce planning, leadership enablement, employee relations, and operational delivery to support a positive employee experience and build leadership capability.

- Guiding and coaching leaders through employment matters, with a focus on performance, conduct, and compliance
- Supporting organisational change and capability uplift, with a focus on performance, inclusivity, and a member‑centric culture
- Leading initiatives that bring our people strategy to life—from onboarding through to retention and development
- Driving reskilling and learning efforts to future‑prove our people and help them thrive in a world shaped by AI and continuous change
- Bringing people data to the table to support better decisions and real outcomes
