Join IAG’s dynamic Legal and Company Secretariat team as a Lawyer, Commercial. You will shape strategic decisions across commercial contracting, procurement, partnering, marketing, and consumer law. You’ll deliver high-quality, pragmatic legal advice, build strong relationships with business leaders, and drive results through collaboration and innovation. From managing legal aspects of major initiatives to staying ahead of regulatory changes, your work will directly impact our business success. This is a permanent opportunity based in Gadigal Country (Sydney) or Naarm (Melbourne).

About You

• Bachelor of Laws or equivalent.
• Qualified as a legal practitioner or admitted to appropriate Australian professional body.
• Legal practice experience 5+ years.
• Legal practice experience in the following functional areas : commercial contracting, procurement, partnering, marketing and consumer law
• Ability to triage multiple priorities and work autonomously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Well-developed technical legal skills (e.g. advisory, contract drafting, negotiation).
• Well-developed customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication, decision making and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
