Responsibilities

As a key member of the Transmission Lines team, you will focus on delivering hands‑on structural / civil engineering design solutions and assessments on clients’ transmission tower and foundation assets. You will also contribute towards project management, bids / proposals, and client relationship management activities aligned with your current skills or career development aspirations. This role suits an individual who enjoys applying their technical expertise to support clients in meeting asset management and project challenges.

This role can be performed from any location in Australia. There is the option for a remote / work from home arrangement. Alternatively, Entura has offices in Melbourne and Hobart (assistance can be provided for those looking to relocate).

Qualifications

Your technical depth in the analysis / design of electricity transmission structures has ideally been proven in a consulting or engineering services / contracting environment. Individuals with purely asset owner side experience who can transition into the dynamics of a consulting firm will also be considered. With a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), you are proficient in computer design packages (PLS Tower, PLS Pole, etc.) and have strong knowledge of relevant engineering standards.
