This newly launched urgent care service was created to meet the growing demand for emergency veterinary attention in Adelaide, focusing on quality over volume, patient-centered care, and staff-to-patient ratios that support great outcomes. The team values a family-like environment where everyone’s voice is heard, and work-life balance is prioritized.

Shifts range from 8 to 12 hours with flexible full-time schedules, aiming to provide a sustainable, long-term career path in urgent care. Veterinarians will consult on urgent cases, perform emergency procedures, and care for hospitalized patients, supported by a team of nurses, interns, residents, and specialists in various fields.

Opportunities include rotating through specialist departments for 4–12 weeks a year or focusing solely on urgent care consulting. Three permanent positions are available, with rosters spanning a full seven-day service, including overnight and weekend shifts. Compensation includes financial incentives, overnight loadings, and a competitive salary depending on experience. Further training and CPD are fully supported.

Support extends beyond the clinic, with visa sponsorship, professional registration fees covered, and flexible working arrangements available.
