Connecting Teams, a fast-growing software consultancy organisation, is seeking a skilled and passionate HR & Culture Building Manager to join our team. This is a contract-based role, with hours varying depending on the volume of work available. We are looking for an individual who can lead our remote hiring efforts, foster a strong team culture, and manage our HR functions using Zoho‘s suite of applications.
Responsibilities :
- Lead recruitment efforts for remote and Australian staff across various platforms including social media, SEEK, Upwork, and OnlineJobs.ph
- Utilise Zoho Recruit to manage all recruitment processes efficiently
- Implement and manage HR functions using Zoho People
- Create and maintain a strong team culture, reinforcing our core values across a distributed workforce
- Drive team engagement through collaboration platforms such as Zoho Cliq & Zoho Connect
- Develop and oversee ongoing team member training and development programs using Zoho Learn (LMS)
- Manage certification requirements for team members
- Collaborate with the business owner to negotiate hourly rates for new team members
- Conduct regular performance reviews in conjunction with team managers or the business owner
- Review existing team members‘ compensation based on performance and certification levels achieved
- Assist clients and the Project Management Team in implementing Zoho‘s HR & Recruitment applications
- Handle employment terminations when necessary due to trust violations, poor performance, or misconduct
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in remote team management and HR technologies
Requirements
Bachelor‘s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a remote or distributed work environmentStrong knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulationsExperience with HR software and applicant tracking systems, preferably Zoho Recruit and Zoho PeopleProficiency in using collaboration and communication tools for remote teamsStrong understanding of learning management systems and employee development programsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with remote team membersDemonstrated experience in building and maintaining company culture, particularly in a remote settingStrong negotiation and conflict resolution skillsAbility to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentialityAdaptability and openness to learning new HR technologies and practicesCompetitive hourly rateFlexible working and location independentOpportunity to shape the culture of a growing, dynamic organisationOngoing training and development opportunities in HR technologies and practicesThis role is ideal for an HR professional who is passionate about building strong, engaged remote teams and leveraging technology to streamline HR processes.
