The IT Application Support Analyst supports alignment of Business and IT objectives, identify opportunities for process advancement leveraging technology, support creation of business capability and technology projects, translate business capabilities into function requirements, and work with business stakeholders and IT delivery teams to develop, test and deploy solutions.
Responsibilities
Support alignment of strategic and tactical business objectives with corresponding IT objectives by supporting the business stakeholders and enterprise IT colleaguesSupport business risk management, regulatory compliance and audit remediation activitiesIdentify opportunities for process advancement leveraging technologyMap business objectives and capability needs specific business functions and processesConduct discovery and documentation for business and IT specific processesMap business process flows, including all critical data elements (e.g. supplier, input, process, output, customer)Translate business capabilities and process designs into function requirements including stakeholder review and sign-off on the requirementsWork with relevant stakeholders and IT colleagues to develop, test and deploy solutions that meet business capability needs and ensure successful achievement of scope, cost, schedule, quality, adoption and value outcomesParticipate in development of solution training material and execution of change management activitiesMaintain relevant data attributes of solution in the Service now / CMDBSupport business continuity and disaster recovery effortsSupport utilization of IT-internal governance processesQualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in Business Analysis or support related rolesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirementsProficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (SQL, Data Lake)Experience with project management methodologies and toolsExcellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skillsExperience with ERP support and processes (e.g. Pronto software, iScala Epicor software / Chris 21 Frontier software)Experience in the use of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or TableauFamiliarity with Agile methodologiesCertifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Project Management (e.g., PMP) are a plusAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and support multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment meeting challenges and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.Additional information
