Centre Manager - Wollongong role at Illawarra Mercury. This is a full-time position. Reporting to the State Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the centre by providing leadership and motivation to your team whilst having a significant impact on the day to day operational running of the site. The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Centre Manager at either AMA Group Solutions or Capital S.M.A.R.T Repairs. This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the State Operations Manager and designed to drive centre performance and team engagement.

Responsibilities

• Production / workshop management : oversee production management of the workshop to ensure targets are achieved and vehicles are repaired to their pre-accident condition in accordance with AMA and Work Provider quality expectations.
• Quality, quotes, parts and vehicle management : ensure comprehensive and accurate quotes, QA inspections and vehicles are repaired to their pre-accident condition.
• Customer service and stakeholder management : provide exceptional customer service to all clients and work providers through prompt, professional and friendly interactions.
• Profit and loss, reporting and administration : ensure the site operates profitably. Prepare and review P&Ls, Budgets, Job costings, KPIs, and Management Reports using available tools to understand site performance.
• Leadership and people management : oversee staffing on site and ensure appropriate staffing levels and processes are in place; proactively build and maintain positive work provider relationships.
• Work Health and Safety (WHS) : maintain the WHS management system, ensure WHS policies and procedures are followed, and report / action safety incidences or near misses promptly.
