Assistant Store Manager - Nunawading

Pillow Talk Australia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Nunawading. This permanent, full‑time role offers a competitive salary of $62,000 – $66,000 per year, plus performance incentives and a host of employee benefits.

Job Description

Partner with the Store Manager to lead and inspire a high‑performing team.
Drive operational excellence and achieve sales performance targets for the store.
Review store and team member performance regularly and develop action plans to maximize potential.
Act as a brand ambassador, creating personalised in‑store experiences for customers and fostering a positive culture.
Coach the team in consultative selling, visual merchandising, and inventory management.
Identify and implement practical ideas to improve store trade and efficiency.

Qualifications

Experience in a commercial, customer‑centric supervisory role, preferably as an Assistant Store Manager.

Large‑format, high‑volume retail experience.

Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to support the Store Manager in running the store and leading teams to achieve revenue targets.

Fashion or trend‑oriented background with strengths in visual display and stock optimisation.

Operational agility and robust inventory management capability.

Consultative selling experience with proven ability to train and coach others.

Entrepreneurial spirit and a track record of implementing ideas that improve store trade.

Strong delegation skills with a focus on driving team productivity.
