DevOps Engineer - Green Light

Green Light Worldwide have a requirement with our client partner for Devops Engineer join their team for Initial 3 Months Engagement + Possibility of Extension. As a Devops Engineer, you would be responsible for design, build, and optimize CI / CD pipelines for various Azure data and application services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and data platform deployments, with hands-on knowledge of Azure services and data integration tools.

Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for :

SQL Server objects

• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Functions
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Develop and manage infrastructure deployments using ARM templates and Bicep .
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes using PowerShell , Bash , or Python .
• Manage source control and branching strategies with Azure Repos or other Git-based repositories.
• Implement and enforce security and compliance standards via Azure AD , RBAC , Key Vault , and Azure Policy .
• Use Azure Monitor and Log Analytics to diagnose issues and optimize performance.
• Support containerization efforts using Docker and Kubernetes .
• Collaborate with development and data teams to ensure reliable and secure deployment of data solutions

Requirements :

• Azure Services :

Azure Functions, SQL Database, Storage, Key Vault, Monitor

Infrastructure Management :

• ARM Templates, Bicep, IaC deployment

CI / CD Pipelines :

• Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML), Build Automation, Multi-stage Release Pipelines

Scripting & Automation :

• PowerShell, Bash, Python

Source Control :

• Git branching, Pull Requests, Code Reviews

Security & Compliance :

• Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault, Azure Policy

Monitoring & Troubleshooting :

• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics

Containerization :

• Docker, Kubernetes

Bonus Expertise :

• Stored Procedures : Writing and optimizing T-SQL stored procedures in Azure SQL
• Azure Data Factory (ADF) :

Building and managing pipelines, data movement, transformation, and orchestration

• Integrating with on-premises and cloud data sources
• Managing access securely with Key Vault
• Monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning of ADF pipelines
