General Practitioner

Overview

AUSTRALIA - Melbourne / Sydney / Adelaide — Flexible 2–10 shifts per week (0.2 – 1 FTE)

We are seeking a General Practitioner to join various busy and well-established clinics across Australia that have been providing trusted care to local families for many years. The practices are known for their accessible, community-focused approach, with a patient base spanning from young families through to older patients requiring ongoing chronic care.

The position

As a GP in this setting, you will play an important role in continuing the clinic’s reputation for continuity of care and long-term patient relationships. Clinical responsibilities include :

• Routine consultations and family medicine
• Management of chronic conditions (diabetes, cardiovascular health, asthma, etc.)
• Preventative health screening and immunisations
• Children’s health, women’s and men’s health
• Mental health care, referrals, and management plans
• Minor procedures, skin checks, and wound management

For experienced GPs, there is an opportunity to step into a senior position with added responsibilities such as supervising junior doctors and GP registrars, contributing to clinic leadership, and supporting the development of health programs tailored to the community.
