Your Role & Responsibilities
As an Insolvency and Restructuring Manager, you will take ownership of client engagements from start to finish. Your key responsibilities will include :
- Developing and executing tailored restructuring and insolvency strategies in close collaboration with clients.
- Leading and overseeing engagement teams, managing multiple workstreams effectively.
- Conducting in‑depth financial analysis to assess business performance, financial position, and potential outcomes.
- Managing the day‑to‑day operations of formal restructuring engagements (e.g., administrations, liquidations), including trade‑on management, asset realisation, receipts and payments, and stakeholder communications.
- Assisting with advisory and informal engagements, such as Independent Business Reviews (IBRs) and turnaround assignments.
- Preparing high‑quality reports, presentations, and formal correspondence for various stakeholders (clients, creditors, legal counsel, etc.).
- Actively participating in business development initiatives, building relationships, and identifying opportunities.
- Mentoring and coaching junior team members, fostering their learning and development.
- Staying current with industry trends, legislative changes, and emerging best practices in insolvency and restructuring.
What We're Looking For
We seek a motivated and detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Key requirements include :
Experience : 4‑7 years of direct experience managing corporate insolvency and restructuring cases within a professional services environment.Qualifications : Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.Certification : CA qualified (or equivalent international qualification).Client Focus : A strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service and outcomes.Analytical Skills : Excellent financial analysis, modelling, and quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail.Communication : Outstanding interpersonal skills with clear and concise written and verbal communication abilities.Commercial Acumen : Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and strong business / commercial awareness.Technical Skills : Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).What's On Offer
