Intermediate Rigger (Top Hand)

We are seeking experienced Riggers to join our team at Steelworks Constructions in the SouthEast Queensland region. As a Rigger (Top hand), you will be responsible for the safe and efficient Installation of Structural Steel as a on construction sites. This is a Full-time work, 3-month probation permanent day shift positions is offered with competitive pay rates, regular overtime.

You will be responsible for :

• Working at heights and with mobile equipment for installation of Structural Steel
• Working with the crew to assist in all aspects of structural steel installation including Hammer drilling, Slinging up loads, Dogging mobile cranes, Installing Purlin, Bridging etc
• Using hand and power tools for Structural steel erection.

Successful applicants will have :

• Experience as a Structural Steel Rigger with Industry buildings
• Strong understanding of rigging techniques, equipment and safety protocols
• Availability to work reasonable amount of overtime
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• HRWL - Basic Rigger, EWP at a minimum
• Working at heights
