Make a Difference in the Community : Specialising in Stomal therapy

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Community Nurse with a focus on Stomal Therapy to join our dedicated healthcare team in Adelaide. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with patients in their homes, providing essential care and support to individuals living with stomas.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive stomal care in patients’ homes, including pre- and post-operative support.
• Assess, manage, and monitor stoma care needs for a diverse range of patients.
• Educate patients and their families on stoma management, including the use of products, maintenance, and emotional support.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Provide continuous support and advice, fostering a positive and trusting relationship with patients.
• Document care and outcomes, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications & Skills :

Employees in face-to-face healthcare roles will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
