Part Time or Full Time Team Leader to join our Conference & Events Service team at Hyatt Regency Sydney. As Australia’s largest premium hotel, we offer 878 guestrooms, multiple dining experiences and over 3,700 sq m of meeting and event space in the heart of the city.

Recently recognised as #2 ranked meeting and events hotel in Asia Pacific by Cvent, we are looking for a Team Leader to ensure the flawless execution of all events and to supervise the Event Service department. This role reports to the Director of Event Service.

The Role

As our Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring the flawless execution of all events by creating memorable experiences for our guests and for the day-to-day operations and supervision of colleagues within the Event Service department.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to provide the best possible service by anticipating their needs
• Be the primary point of contact for the event host
• Identify guests’ needs by asking the right questions and building rapport quickly
• Manage high-energy, fast-paced events operations to deliver a dynamic and memorable experience
• Assist events hosts and guests in finding solutions using available resources
• Plan, execute and manage events with minimal supervision
