Junior Sous Chef | Mascot Pasta

Our production kitchen is located in Mascot and is at the heart of Merivale. It is a dedicated space with the latest equipment and tools in order to support multiple venues with the production of key products such as pasta for Totti’s, pizza dough for Vinnies Pizza, and pita bread for Jimmy’s. Our chefs specialise in delivering consistent product to Merivale venues.

The Role

We are looking for a Junior Sous Chefto join this already incredible team in the pasta department at Mascot Production. This is the perfect opportunity for a chef looking to take the next step in their career and start leading a team. You will be part of the team responsible for making homemade pasta and similar products for a range of our venues.

If you have the following, then this role is for you :

• Have 2+ years’ experience in production or a similar environment.
• Knowledge around making high-quality pasta is ideal.
• Are organised with an eye for detail and consistency.
• Happy to work in a production kitchen environment.
• Early starts and mainly a weekday roster, with occasional weekend work required.

This is a physical and manual job that requires lifting and moving items around the kitchen.
