Reservations Manager - Fixed Term 12 Months

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented 12-month Fixed-term Reservations Manager to join our dynamic team at Novotel& Ibis Sydney on Darling Harbour. As a Reservations Manager you will lead the Reservations team and play a critical role in creating the perfect stay for each and every one of our guests. You are a natural leader who thrives in a team environment and possess strong organisational and time management skills with an impeccable eye for detail.

Your key duties include :

• Supervision support and training of Reservations Team Members to ensure standards and procedures are observed to provide a consistent high level of service for all guest contact
• Ensure familiarity with the reservations system all tiers of the rate structure occupancy and Property features to maximise occupancy at every opportunity
• Work closely with Director of Revenue and Operational teams on all aspects of revenue maximisation across all distribution channels
• Prepare yearly forecasts of occupancy and revenue in conjunction with Management
• Ensure open communication is provided to Reservations Team of any days where bookings may be a concern
• Open and close room types rates and allotments in order to maximise revenue and occupancy
• Assist rate strategy development and implementation to achieve property and Company goals.
• Prepare and follow monthly objectives to increase occupancy and revenue
• Working alongside Sales team and ensure clear communication between teams
• Providing additional support and ad hoc basis to our sister properties when needed
