Over the years they have established an impressive, sustainable business by aligning with multiple blue-chip mining companies, and now need to recruit a CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR into their high-class Perth team.

About The Role

As CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR you will be working in the Perth CBD office mainly managing post-award contractual aspects of mining-related civil projects in WA. As CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR you will negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements, support the procurement process for key plant, materials and equipment, assess subcontractor variations, manage progress claims and EOTs, delay notices, bank guarantees and certificates, undertake cost forecasting, tracking & budgeting, negotiations and dispute resolution. This is a permanent role where you will be provided excellent career support with a view to growing into a Commercial Management position in time. On offer will be a terrific remuneration package CIRCA $150-160K Base + Super , which will be based on your existing level of experience.

Skills, Qualifications And Other Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity surveying or similar
• Approximately 5-10 years’ of industrial construction experience for civil / structural / marine contractors in Australia as a CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR preferred
• Experience on mine site civil infrastructure or industrial developments is preferred, however commercial building experience as a Contract Administrator will also be considered
• Demonstrated experience as a CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR managing claims, variations, EOTs and Notices of delay, for construction contractors preferably in the civil / resources sector
• Strong communication and negotiation skills and great attention to detail
• Available to start within 4 weeks maximum
• Currently Perth based with existing rights to work in Australia
