We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to play a key role in managing commercial aspects of construction and utilities projects, ensuring financial and contractual success. While you will be based at our Head Office in West Perth, regular site visits across our operations in WA will be a key aspect of your role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Contract & Risk Management : Understand all commercial aspects of construction and utilities contracts, identifying key areas of contract and financial risk.
- Financial Oversight : Handle project forecasting, financial modelling, cost control, and performance reporting.
- Procurement & Negotiation : Manage subcontractor procurement and negotiate commercial terms in line with company protocols.
- Subcontractor Management : Oversee subcontracts, including payments, variations, claims, and extensions of time (EOT).
- Reporting : Prepare and submit monthly progress claims.
- Collaboration & Risk Mitigation : Work closely with the Project Manager, EGM and project team to proactively manage financial and contractual risks.
About You :
Qualifications : A degree or formal qualification in Contract Management or Quantity Surveying (preferred).Industry Experience : Proven expertise in procurement and contract management within the construction or utilities sectors.Commercial Acumen : Strong financial and contractual understanding, including notifications, claims preparation, and negotiations.Tech Proficiency : Excellent IT skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and Word.Risk Mitigation : Proactive in identifying and addressing financial and contractual risks before they escalatie.In addition to the qualifications and experience mentioned above, we are looking for individuals who possess the following attributes :
