Job descriptionCurrent Class 1A driver’s licence. Knowledge and application of WHS principles and legislation. Experience operating plant and equipment. Experience operating weed spraying equipment. Hold current Chemcert (Chemical Handling) qualification. Experience operating front mowers. Permanent position – 76 hours per fortnight. Grade B – $60,239 p.a. with progression to $62,949 p.a. and performance progression to $70,522 p.a. Uniform provided. On-the-job training provided.
Position
Plant Operator at Fairfield City Council – City Delivery, Parks and Open Space department. The role involves operating mowers, tractors, weed spraying equipment to maintain parks, gardens and open spaces.
Responsibilities
- Operate plant and equipment, including mowers, tractors, weed spraying.
- Maintain daily operation, upkeep, safety, quality procedures.
- Collaborate with team to enhance open spaces community services.
