Actuarial Pricing Analyst – Zurich Australia

Key Responsibilities
- Develop pricing recommendations to achieve target return on equity, including pricing structure, segment analysis, and rating methodology.
- Support actuaries in identifying profitable portfolio segments for underwriter and distribution strategies and assist with pricing for large policies or schemes.
- Drive continuous improvements to Model Price in line with Zurich Global Underwriting Policy.
- Champion data quality and process enhancements to support portfolio performance monitoring and compliance with Group, ZAIL, and Zurich New Zealand standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant tertiary qualification in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or Statistics.Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret data.High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Recent graduate or final year student with hands‑on experience with data programming tools such as SAS, SQL, R, or Python.Required Skills & Technical Proficiency
Proficiency in Excel, SAS, and general programming.Strong technical skills with experience in SAS and programming in R or Python.Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and deliver actionable insight.Benefits & Work‑Life Balance
