Actuarial Pricing Analyst – Zurich Insurance

Job Description
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing underwriting profitability and achieving growth objectives by providing strategic pricing and underwriting guidance. You will monitor portfolio performance to ensure compliance with Group, ZAIL, and Zurich New Zealand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop pricing recommendations to ensure target return on equity, including pricing structure, segment analysis, and rating methodology
- Support actuaries in identifying profitable portfolio segments for underwriters and distribution strategies; assist with pricing for large policies or schemes
- Drive continuous improvements to model pricing in line with Zurich Global Underwriting Policy
- Champion data quality and process enhancements
Qualifications
This role is ideal for recent graduates or those in their final year of study in Actuarial Science or related fields such as Mathematics, Data Science, or Statistics. You should have strong analytical skills and a passion for problem‑solving.
