Role Overview
As a Salesforce Developer you will join the Enterprise Technology & Software Engineering team to support, develop, and maintain Ampol’s Salesforce platform, ensuring optimal performance, security, and integration with other systems.
Responsibilities
- Ensure performance, integrity, and security of Salesforce systems.
- Develop and maintain custom Salesforce applications and components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
- Implement and optimise automation processes including flows, workflows, and triggers.
- Gather and analyse requirements from stakeholders and provide technical solutions aligned with business goals.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware tools.
- Maintain documentation of technical designs, configurations, and development processes.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for existing Salesforce applications and enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Proven Salesforce development experience in a large-scale environment.Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL.Experience with Salesforce configuration : workflows, process builders, and validation rules.Knowledge of REST / SOAP APIs and integration patterns.Understanding of Salesforce security model and data architecture.Experience with version control tools and CI / CD pipelines.Experience in a multi‑cloud Salesforce environment.Familiarity with third‑party applications and AppExchange products.Benefits and Development
