We are looking for an Electronic Engineer to join our clients team and play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of critical electrical and electronic systems on our offshore vessels. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Electrical Team and report directly to the Electrical Foreman.
Key Responsibilities :
Monitor and control all onboard electrical / electronic equipment in line with stringent safety procedures
Develop and propose maintenance schedules, prioritising tasks for optimal equipment uptime
Analyse material stock levels and recommend procurement requirements to maintain work continuity
Ensure all work activities adhere strictly to HSE and quality protocols
Conduct preventive maintenance to uphold the efficiency of electrical / electronic equipment
Coordinate with the Electrical Team and participate in daily toolbox talks
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline
Proven experience in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical / electronic systems, preferably in the marine / offshore industry
Solid understanding of electrical principles, equipment, and maintenance practices
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment issues
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Unwavering commitment to safety and quality standards in a demanding offshore environment
