Production Supervisor

Our iconic brands, such as Lockwood, Abloy, Whitco and Yale, are driven by innovation and have been recognised with ASSA ABLOY’s inclusion in Forbes’ Top 100 most innovative companies list, on four separate occasions.About The RoleWe are searching for a proven results-focused Production Supervisor for our manufacturing plant at Hendon, South Australia.Reporting to the Production Manager, you will have 'hands-on' leadership of a key part of the plant operations to ensure a quality product is achieved every time in a safe manner.To be considered for this role, you will have : Proven success in a senior operational / supervisory roleExcellent engagement and commercial skillsManagement experience in a high volume / fast-paced manufacturing environment (building products – ideal)Advanced knowledge of production systems and modern manufacturing practicesDemonstrated skills in implementing continuous improvementStrong experience in OHS systems and strong computer (ERP) skillsIdeally, you will be results-oriented with a hands-on approach and a sense of responsibility and ownership. You will bring strong technical knowledge, operating with a high level of structure, energy & autonomy and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.You will have demonstrated leadership skills, with a focus on coaching and developing the team to be the best they can be to ensure the consistent achievement of production, quality and cost targets, while also keeping an eye on the bigger picture.Additional Requirements : 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within manufacturingSelf-driven, resilient, and want to succeed and own the accountability of the roleExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster relationshipsAble to engage broadly, multi-task, and have strong systems and analytical skillsThis is an exciting time to be part of a truly dynamic company and industry.#J-18808-Ljbffr
