At Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD), we are committed to Trusted Care, Better Health for Everyone, and we are seeking an Aboriginal Clinical Lead - Violence, Abuse and Neglect to provide clinical and cultural leadership within our team.
This is a position identified for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people on the basis of a genuine occupational qualification under section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977. Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander applicants must demonstrate Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander status in addition to addressing the selection criteria.

About The Opportunity
This vital leadership role will ensure an Aboriginal world view is embedded across Violence, Abuse and Neglect (VAN) services. You will support Aboriginal people and families accessing care, while guiding staff to provide culturally responsive and trauma-informed services.
This role is suitable for Counsellor Level 4, Psychologist, Sexual Assault Worker Level 4, Senior Psychologist, or Social Worker Level 4.

Applicants must have current work rights in Australia or be a permanent resident or citizen. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants who do not meet this requirement.

Vaccination Requirements
All NSW Health workers are required to comply with the Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy Directive. This includes :
Category A positions : Mandatory evidence of protection against specified infectious diseases, including annual influenza vaccination and tuberculosis assessment.
Category B positions : Vaccination is recommended but not mandatory.
