Senior Data Scientist

As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll be a key contributor in our Data & Analytics team, leading the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI and ML solutions. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, data modellers, software engineers and analysts to deliver impactful, data-driven outcomes. This is a high-impact role where you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of LMG and make a real difference in the lives of our customers.

This is a hybrid role (2 days in the office per week) that can be done from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and implement AI and machine learning solutions to address complex business challenges.
• Evaluate and optimize model performance to ensure accuracy, stability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to deploy models on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and integrate them seamlessly into existing workflows.
• Leverage dbt (Data Build Tool) to create reusable features for the data and analytics community at LMG.
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends in AI, machine learning, and data science, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
• Communicate technical insights and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists to foster their growth and development.
