Allied Health Assistant Trainee

Overview

NSW Health Muswellbrook, New South Wales, Australia. This Hunter New England Allied Health Assistant Traineeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain a recognised qualification (Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance) while gaining hands-on experience. Under the supervision of Allied Health professionals and support staff, you will assist the team with clinical and non-clinical tasks, including patient one-to-one sessions, group exercise classes, setting up equipment, and maintaining treatment areas.

• Currently at school, or a recent school leaver, eager to start a career in health.
• Motivated and enthusiastic about learning new skills.
• Eager to learn about and help improve health outcomes for the community.
• Keen to work as part of a team supporting the community.
• Be able to communicate respectfully and build rapport easily with people.

About Us

Join a skilled Allied Health team and support staff dedicated to providing excellent patient care at Muswellbrook Community Health Service. You’ll be supported by supervision from the Physiotherapy AHA team and Allied Health department leaders, with opportunities to learn and grow during your traineeship.
