About the role

Thiess invites applicants to apply for the position of Operational Technology Technician Assistant. This hands-on role will report through the Mt Arthur South Electrical, Technology and Infrastructure Superintendent and support Thiess’s operations at Mt Arthur South.

Working on a Lifestyle roster, the responsibility of the role will be to assist with the maintenance and installation of infrastructure and systems which support the Operational Technology (OT), Fleet Management Systems (FMS) and other smart machine systems used on Mt Arthur South site.

Some of your duties will include :

• Installations and maintenance on mobile fleet
• Installations and maintenance on mine backhaul network
• Carry out inspections and repairs during machine overhauls
• Perform system upgrades as required
• Build close working relationship with equipment OEMs.
